    Formula to Copy - Non Referencing

    Hi,

    I have a set of numbers in a given Column (say Column A , Rows 1 thro 500 ) , I wanted to copy the whole set A1:A500 , to Column B but without using Ctrl+C , Ctrl+V ;

    PS :

    1. Data in Column A can change , but Data in Column B should remain same after the copy , so i don't wanted cell referencing ; (say before copy A6 has value 5 , after copy B6 will be 5 , then i wanted to change A6=10 , but B5 should remain 5 )

    I'm trying to do it Formula based , also i would want "Formula based" and not VBA

    I'm trying to get data point during some work execution [ snapshot information of Column A (by copying it to Column B) ] , so that in future i can compare Column A Vs B to see how well the work execution is

    Thanks
    VMG

    Re: Formula to Copy - Non Referencing

    This can't be done without VBA. Copy and paste values us the only non-VBA way to do it.
