Autofill text using a dropdown

Hi Guys

Is there a way to autofill cells based upon the cell value of a dropdown box?

I've tried to attach an example of what i'm trying to achieve

Place this into B5 and copy down.

=IF(B$4="region A",DATA!A4,DATA!B4)

Hi Pete,

Appoligies me not providing all the Data - In this sinario there will be multiple regions and i want a dropdown that provides the data where i can used that data to sort a vlookup.

Does that make sence?
