How to turn a bar chart into a boxplot diagram?

Hi there,

is it possible to turn this bar chart into a boxplot diagram (showing the maximum, minimum, median, 1st and 3rd quatrile)? If so, how? Thanks for the support!

In newer versions of Excel, you can use the built in box and whisker plot specialty chart: https://www.excel-easy.com/examples/...sker-plot.html

From what I see around the forums these specialty charts are not very flexible. They also, obviously, aren't backwards compatible. If you need backwards compatibility or flexibility not offered by the specialty chart, then you can build a box and whisker plot as a stacked bar/column chart: https://peltiertech.com/excel-box-an...ams-box-plots/ It should become obvious from the tutorial that you will need to calculate your different quartile values in the spreadsheet before you can put them in the chart.
