Calculating time within a given time slot

    Hi there
    Here goes !!
If I have a timeslot say 21:00 to 07:00 - I need to calculate from 21:00 to 23:00 at one rate - then I need to calculate from 23:01 to 06:00 at a different rate, then back to 06:01 to 07:00 back at the original rate
Is there a way of calculating this so I can calculate the enhanced rate for any hours that fall between 23:00 and 06:00? - these shifts can either span over midnight or they might not.
It's driving me up the wall - any help or guidance will me much appreciated
    Many thanks in anticipation
    Paul

    Welcome to the forum.

Yes, there's always a way, but provide some sample data to help us to help you.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

PS Hello from across the border!!!
