    What-If Analysis

    Hello,

I am currently enrolled in an Excel spreadsheet class and have a question. Can I use the What-If Analysis to predict the amount of the reduction of expenditures needed to reduce a budget, by changing the percentage of the budget cut needed by 5%, 10%, 15%, etc.,?

    Thank you,

    Sylvia S.

Sylvia S, a quick check shows that you and LoreneB are are same person.

Either convince me this is not the case, or pick 1 of these ID's and I will delete the other 1

    Re: What-If Analysis

There is no need to use Goal Seek when you can simply assign a cell as the % budget cut, and multiple all affected variables with this value (1- % budget cut).

The OP does not mention Goal Seek. It sounds like the OP is interested in using Scenarios as a What-If method.

We have also not heard from the OP in two weeks so maybe she's gone.
