I am currently enrolled in an Excel spreadsheet class and have a question. Can I use the What-If Analysis to predict the amount of the reduction of expenditures needed to reduce a budget, by changing the percentage of the budget cut needed by 5%, 10%, 15%, etc.,?

There is no need to use Goal Seek when you can simply assign a cell as the % budget cut, and multiple all affected variables with this value (1- % budget cut).
The OP does not mention Goal Seek. It sounds like the OP is interested in using Scenarios as a What-If method.Originally Posted by josephteh
