Adding starting ticket number to Raffle Ticket tracking

Hi,
I am trying to see if there is a way to enter a starting ticket number(example: my first sold ticket number is 9981976). I found this on a different thread on here but I really would like the ticket numbers to start at my own number. Is it possible to make that happen in this set up? (see attached) And what other formulas would I need to fix to make it work properly. I am definitely a beginner trying to learn.

Any help and insight would be amazing! TIA

Hello gpar4607 and welcome to the forum.

Excel will no longer allow me to open an *.xls file format. I must first change the extension to *.xlsx in my Downloads folder. At least that used to work, but not today. (Perhaps new updates have changed something at my end. (:)

Having said that please do a Save as on your file to *.xlsx format and re-upload. TIA

When going to sheet 2 the ticket number that shows in A2 is ticket #1, what I want to have happen is that starting at ticket number 998176 (as we have physical tickets we are using). I tried to add + 9981974 in the formula in A2 in sheet 2 and then it throws off the equation for the corresponding name. I guess what I am trying to do is have the physical ticket numbers correspond with the data in the spreadsheets but not sure where to input such a thing. What we are trying to do is keep track of each person that buys our raffle ticket so when they are drawn we can go back and see who had what specific ticket without having to hand type each individual name/ticket as we have 300+ people coming to the event. Hopefully this makes more sense.

What does 9981974 have to do with your question ... or ie what answer would you expect and why? There are no numbers that large on either sheet ... and

I am so sorry. Being a newbie I really don't know what I'm doing. Adding the 9971974 was the only way I could figure out to get the ticket number to show the same number as our physical ticket number.

So, with the set up I have here is my ideal result and where I am stuck.
My physical beginning ticket number that I have is 9981976. Anne buys 5 raffle tickets. On sheet one I have Anne's name and how many tickets she bought. On sheet two I am trying to get it to show Ticket Number 9981976 through 981980 with Anne's name. But I cannot figure out how to show those numbers on sheet 2.

So, you want Anne's ticket numbers to be 9981976 9981977 9981978
Bobs: 9981979 9981980 9981981 9981982 9981983
Charles buys 12 tickets, it picks up the sequence beginning at 9981983, and gets the next 12 numbers in the sequence. . .

All the numbers for that person are determined by the quantity of tickets they buy as defined in column B.

Would that be correct?
