Trouble applying ROUND
Hello
I am sure it’s simple, but have tried every variation I can think of to apply round to this
='Octopus 2022'!H17*A9+'Octopus 2022'!G89
The octopus are referencing another sheet in the same workbook.
Also want to add P to the end & “ P”, why is it that if I add &” P” without using ROUND it displays in a very long decimal form ???
Unsure why that should change the decimal place position.

Please upload a workbook or a representative cut down copy, anonymised if necessary. It is always easier to advise if we can see your request in its context.
Show a before and after situation with manually calculated results, explaining which information is data and which is results, and if it's not blindingly obvious how you have arrived at your results some explanatory notes as well.

I am ok using round in this way =ROUND((3600 *A13)/(4.2*114),2)&" oC"
But when there is a reference to another sheet, I get errors I.e. with ='Octopus 2022'!H17*A9+'Octopus 2022'!G89
Likely it’s just bracket placement

Yes it does work, I can only assume the apostrophe I used was the wrong one during editing
