    Automatically Insert Dates

    Hi how would i go about inserting a date say 1/1/22 in A1 and then have the date auto fill down column A to the 31/12/22

    In A1:

    1/1/22

    In A2:

    =A1+1

    Drag copy down.

    When i copy down i get 1/1/00 A1: 1/1/22 A2: 2/1/22 (A1+1)

    Try again, then.

    Here are the instructions in a bit more detail.

    In A1, type "1/1/22" (no inverted commas, of course).

    In A2, type "=A1+1" (no inverted commas, of course).

    Drag copy A2 down (NOT A1).
