Forumla Help Request: If one cell is higher than another, perform this calc. If not....

Hi Folks,

I am not having any luck trying to figure this out, so I figured I would ask here, as you are all the smartest people I know.....

The attached pic is a sales tracker/commission calculator I am working on. Here is the scenario.

If a sale is completed at or above the target margin rate, then the formula I need to calculate is:
Base Commission Rate X Secured Volume X Secured Margin Rate Kicker

However, if the margin rate is below the target, the calculation must be:
Base Commission Rate X Secure Volume

I have not been able to figure this out after a few days of trying. Can anyone help me please?

Thank you.

Joe

1. Provide sample files, not pics - we cany work with pics.

2. If you MUST provide a pic, at least make it big enough to read/see.

3. Try something like...
=if(A>B, use-this-formula,use-that-formula)
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Sorry, having a hard time figuring out what is considered "sale is completed at or above the target margin rate"

Can you give me an example please?

Is this what you want?
=IF(I10="","",$O$3*I10*IF(J10>=O5,$O$4,1))
