Encryped file dont become uncrypted when password is entered

Hi,
Using excel 365 on microsoft pc.

I have encrypted the excelfile (filetype: xlsm, meaning I use VBAmacros) with password and uploaded it on Sharepoint so we can be multiple users at the same time editing the file.
But it doesnt work? Why?

Autosave doesnt work either because the file can not be encrypted so I have tried to enter the password to decrypt the file and it seems like it works. But I still cant autosave or work mutiple persons in the file?

It won't work bevcause VBA does not function in a browser environment.

Sorry, Im in Sweden =)

But when I click on sharepoint file and pick "Open In Desktop" we should still be able to be multiple people in the file and it should work with VBA since im using from desktop?
Or doesnt VBA work because its on SHarepoint and it doesnt actually matter if i open it in browser of desktop?

I have used VBA on SharePoint and it has worked in a file opened in the Desktop, however there are two issues:

1. The user has to agree to run the macro. If they dismiss the ribbon message, then the VBA won't run.
2. Microsoft is rolling out a block on VBA that cannot be dismissed so easily (there was a thread about it recently - I will find it and post a link here).

You need to move away from VBA.
