Good day Friends, So I have a situation and I don't know how to solve it, I mean I know how to solve it manually but I have no idea how to make it automatically so I can just copy and paste the files I'm given every day and also it doesn't have only 2 employees but it could change everyday, in case someone quits or gets hired. However, if I do it manually it will take me a long time to do it. I will upload a sample file that shows what I'm working with and it has three sheets in it, every cell in yellow is what I've been working.
The first sheet that I called "working hours" will have the name of the employees, ID, date, and time that was worked during the day through events in seconds, which is column U, Column V is basically that I converted the seconds from column U to hours and column W is adding all the time (or seconds) that every employee worked during the day.
The second Sheet that I called "Schedule" is basically just the sheet that I'm given with their schedule everyday, it has their ID, date, when they start working and when their day ends. Column G is basically just substracting their end time with start time for each event to get the time it will last each event and Column H is the addiction of the time for each event and how much they need to work during the day.
The third sheet is actually what I need to do which is owed time, it's just substracting the scheduled time with the working time to see if they owe time working.
I know what I need to do but manually, however, it takes a long time to complete. Every day I'm giving the same files, the working hours changes everyday with the same columns but with different events and working hours and sometimes employees. Schedule sheet, doesn't change much unless that we have new people or they quit. So I would like to just paste working hours sheet from A2 with the new daily information while the formulas run them and for schedule I would be pasting the schedule for every employee from A2 as well.
Would really appreciate if you could guide me how to do it and I'm aware I would have to change or tweak the formula for every employee.
