    Vertical Summary of Horizontal Data - How?

    I have a report set out as attached


    What is the best formula to use to do this?

    1. I have updated your title - please ensure that you tell us what you are trying to do in future, and don't use something vague and generic.
    2. Your post should also include details - nobody should be compelled to open the attachment in order to find out what it's about.
    3. There is no 2020 version of Excel - that is likely a release number. Please update your profile with the correct information. Thanks.

    HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP or INDEX MATCH will do the job. In B23 drag copied down:

    =INDEX($B$17:$J$17,,MATCH(A23,$B$3:$J$3,0))

    Two other options
    If the the two sets of headings will always be in the same order
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    This assumes you are using either xl 2021 or 365

    That won't work unless the OP's '2020' version is a release of MS365 - probably worth mentioning.
