I am trying to create a job aid for my company and having and unable to figure out how to make a calculation work.
Based on the attached spreadsheet, what I am trying to do is create a message whether an insurance policy is enough to cover 20% value.
Based on the area highlighted in Orange, what I have so far in terms of a formula is - =IF(C6=0,"",(IF(C6>D6,"Coverage is Adequate. Ok to Proceed.",(IF(C6<D6,"Falls outside of company guidelines. HO-6 policy needs to be increased by….."))))).
The purpose of this part of the spreadsheet is that if the coverage of the flood is enough, it will say the "Coverage is adequate. Ok to Proceed".
or, if the coverage is not adequate, the message will currently say - "Falls outside of company guidelines. HO-6 policy needs to be increased by....."
After the word "by", I would like a formula to calculate the difference between cell d6 from c6 and generate a number telling the employee how much they are short.
I have the basic formula for if "the coverage is ok". But when the coverage is not, having an issue creating the formula within the overall "If" formula to calculate and generate the calculation.
