Stop Conditional formatting from creating new rule when a new row is inserted.

    Hello All!

So I have a conditional formatting rule that is designed to tell me what loads will be affected by another load.

Please Login or Register to view this content.
The range is C7:C9999 on the ready tab.

But if I insert a row on the faux planner, to add a new load it duplicates the rules.

    After
    After.PNG

Any solutions to solve this from happening?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
where do you add a new load?
can you attach the file where the rules are being duplicated?

    Hello!

If you look at the bottom of my OP you can see a link to "Test.45 with formulas"

    To answer your question,

If you look in the faux planner tab, you will see a vertical list starting at 800001,800002, etc. If I insert a row in-between 800005 & 800006 to add a new load or to reorder the list, my CF in the ready tab C&:9999 will "duplicate" the rules as shown in the OP.

Does that help clear up any issues?

    Hi
I see your attachment but where can I see the duplication within the file? which column/row should I mark in order to view the rules?
maybe you can explain first what your rule is trying to do to get this clearer.......?
