I have attached a data sheet.
I want to count how many cells are the same as the solution row for each student.
Solution to questions are in B3-J3, all students results are to be matched to that row, results are output in column k.
Thanks

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Are you still on V2010? if you've upgraded to O365, try this in K4 and copy down:
=SUM(--(B4:J4=$B$3:$J$3))
I don't think this will work in 2010, but you could try entering it as an array formula (submitting it using Ctrl+Shift+Enter instead of just enter). My guess is it won't work in 2010 though.

You can try the following formula: =SUM((B4:J4=$B$3:$J$3)*1). Use ctrl+shift+enter after pasting the formula, since this is an array.
