    Do you want the number still to hold its value? If so, I suggest you use costom cell formatting, which would be simply m or mm. If you convert it any other way, you won't be able to calculate anything using it.

    Simply multiply by 1440 and display the result in General number formatting.

    =B3*1440

    and format as general.
