Change the cell number based on a value in different cell

Hi,

quick question here. Is it possible to change a cell number in a formula based on a value in different cell?
For example I have this formula:

I would like to replace the "D" with a different cell number in which would be a text value that defines the cell number in the first formula.
Something like this

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

and in the A1 cell would be text value "D". I know it isn't working but is there a way to achieve it?
