    Lightbulb Conditional formatting help needed - using and(or( with isnumber(search( function

    I have the below formula to conditional format a cell (E72) as highlighted if true, HOWEVER, if cells E57 or E68 contain "yes" and the conditions for E58 or E66 are satisfied, nothing is happening to cell E72. Oddly, if cell E59 is set to "yes" and either E58 contains "yes" or E66 contains "r", the target cell (E72) is highlighting as expecting! Please help?

    =AND(OR(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$E$58)),ISNUMBER(SEARCH("r",$E$66))),OR(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$E$57)),ISNUMBER(SEARCH(“Yes”,$E$59)),ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$E$67)),ISNUMBER(SEARCH(“Yes”,$E$68))))

    Welcome to the forum

    Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    You have the wrong type of quotes around Yes fro both cells E68 & E59. You need to change them to the same quotes you have in the rest of the formula.
