1. ## Help with Excel Formula to determine the price based on number of transactions

Hi All,

Hope you are doing well!.. I am trying to determine the price for the input table which has the industry and the average monthly number of transactions..The reference table1 classifies the pricing tiers based on the number of transactions...The general rule is tier A is priced at 30 and tier B is priced at 95% of price of Tier A and Tier C is priced at 95% of tier B and so on..Can you please help me with this ..Attached the sample excel table with the input and the output tables..

Thanks,
Arun

I'm sure you could have worked this out from the answer I gave you in your previous thread. Put this in cell C2 of the Output sheet:

=30*POWER(0.95,MATCH(B2,Input!\$H\$2:\$H\$7)-1)

then copy down as required.

Hope this helps.

Pete
