VLOOKUP with MULTILINEs

Hello!

Does anybody know how to use multiline data and VLOOKUP together?

I.e. my source data often has multiple lines in one cell (my data are land plots and its owners - many land plots have multiple owners), and I want to use VLOOKUP and have same multiline styling/format in the vlookup-ed data as in the source data.

Any ideas?

Many thanks
Peter

Please attach a sample of how your data is structured, what defines the expected result and it's location.

Formulas cannot "copy" formatting from another cell - you would need to pre-format the cell containing the formula
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: VLOOKUP with MULTILINEs

If I'm not misunderstood, you may use * in vlookup search term.
For sample

Vlookup( "*somthing*" , range , column_number , false )

Regards.
