How do I add to an existing figure automatically when I put another figure in.

Hi

I have a workbook that has a value in column E and F. What im trying to do when I put a new figure in column F, I need that added to value in column E and then that new value placed in column E

I.E E11 has 10.00 and I then type a value of 21.00 in F11. Once ive done that I automatically need the value in E11 changed to 31.00.

If it cant be done automatically I can do a macro but would be for individual rows so if it has to be a macro can you poss do for 1 row only then I can duplicate for other rows.

Can this be done?

You will need a macro as a cell can only be a value OR formula.

Right OK Any ideas on that as I can only do macros by using recorder on excel and dont think it will do it that way?
