Pairing people with no repeats over multiple weeks/events

I apologise in advance - I am not very good in excel - I can happily copy formulas and figure out how they work but cant make them up for love nor money!!

I have a dilemma I need assistance with - some threads have almost given me the answer but with some bits missing or reams of coding that I dont understand.

I want to make pairings for 10 people so that they each work with every other person over a duration (call it 9 weeks if easier) without any repeating,

I then want to be able to use the same formula for 12 people (11 weeks), 14 people (13 weeks) etc etc up to 30 people.

I have managed to do some manually, but its taking an age.

Any help greatly received (in the most laymans terms possible please!!)

Have you got a sample Excel workbook that you can attach, so we can see how you want this laid out? The yellow banner at the top of the screen explains how to do this.

Apologies for the delay - I had everything on my work computer. I think i have uploaded an example of how I have laid out the 8 person example.
The numbers on the left would then just be replaced with the names of the students and in the small tables.

This isn't exactly the same format as the file attached to post #3 however perhaps it will help.
The table on the left comes from post #1 in the following thread: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...-schedule.html
The table on the right is populated using: =INDEX($AI$3:$AI$34,MATCH(B4,$AJ$3:$AJ$34,0))
To change the number of individuals to be paired change the value in cell AM2, not B2.
Put actual names in cells AI3:AI34
Let us know if you have any questions.
