Count If that can find different text values in cells

Can someone provide variation on COUNTIF formula (or similar that works) that is smart enough to pull in a text source and be filled down?

Example attached:

• Column B has different tasks.
• Column C has different sources for these tasks.
• Column F has the Data List for these sources.
• Column G should count the sources in column C.
• I could input the Source value in each formula.
• But this is time-consuming, surely there is a formula that I could apply to pull in the source?
