How do I multipy a range of cells by a common number?

Enter your number in the spreadsheet in a blank cell. Copy. Edit | Paste
Special...multiply.

Enter a number in an unused cell.

Copy that cell.

Select your range of data and Paste Special>Multiply>OK>Esc.

Delete the cell with the nunber.
