    Corrupt file Recovery

I have an Excel workbook that has been corrupted.
One day I tried to open the file and I receive the message "unable to open
    file"
I had built some complex formulas into this sheet and would like to recover
    the syntax.
If I can recover the actual formula in one row of the spreadsheet I can
    recreate the file rather easily.

I found some information on recovery here:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...346561033.aspx

"Open & Recover" has not worked.
I have been successful in using external references to link to the corrupted
file but I can only retreive the Value returned by the formula in the cell.
Does anyone have an idea on how to retreive the formula contained within the
    cell?

    Much appreciated!

What version Excel have you got? If not 2002 or 2003 then by all means send
me the file and I'll have a go for you. If it's too badly corrupted though
then you may be out of luck. Need to take the NOSPAM out of my email addy.
