formula for converting yards to meters

i am trying to make a conversion chart for golfers

Bring up www.google.com in your browser and type:
"yards to meters" (no quotes)
It returns:
1 yards = 0.9144 meters
So, in Excel you would use:
=A1*.9144
where A1 holds the # of yards.
