Sum by dates

Column B: Amount

How do I get the sum of column B if column A is between 2/1/05 - 2/28/05?

=sumif(A:A,38384:38411,B:B)

Nop, but I like the idea. Try this instead:

=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A65536<38411)*(A1:A65536>38384)*(B1:B65536))
since A:A is not allowed
