Somehow, I managed to lose all the text in my post. What I am trying to do is figure out how to write a formula using a range such as greater than 1 and less than 6.

I am working on performance evaulations where all employees are rated either a 1, 2, 3 or 4. All ratings are in one column. What I want to do is tie the rating to specific percentages. I have tried using the IF statements, but still having trouble. Here's what I was trying to do:

    Rating is in column A.
In column B, the manager will enter the % increase he would like to give WITHIN designated parameters. If the employee is rated a 1, they will receive 0% increase. That one I've been able to get pretty easily through the IF statement. But then I want to add to the formula to say if a person receives a 2, the percentage can be anywhere from 2-5%; a 3 merits a 3-7% increase, and and 4 gets a 5-9% increase.

Any ideas on how I can write this formula???
