    Calculate percentage change between 2 cells

    Example:

    a1 has a value of $25.11
    a2 has a value of $27.59

    what formula can I put in cell a3 that will calculate the change as a percentage?

    I assume you want A3 to tell you the % change from A1 to A2. if that is the case, just type =1-(a1/a2) in cell A3.
