    Any pros here

    Hi,
I am working with a sheet.
There i have cell "price", margin % and price net.
I wanted to know if it possible to do like this that when i enter a number (%) in cell "margin %" then it will multiply with cell "price" and give the value in cell "Price net". this part is ok. But i wanted to do it vice versa. like this. exampel. The price for a product is 100 $ for me to get and i want to sell it with profit. So i might give excel how much margin in % i want then it will calculate and show price net or i may manualy enter the price i want it to be sold out for and the excel will show how much margin i will get from this price. Only with three cell. That i now is when i type a number in the cell where the formula is then the formula will be erased.

I hope u understod what iam trying to explain
    Plz help!

    Price :
    Margin % :
    Price net :

You have 3 criteria and by knowing any two, you can calculate the third.

Obviously to calculate a net price from a list price minus X discount is easy, but take a look at this to calculate the other two. It is an actual working tool I created that we use at work.

To protect accidental overtype of the formulae, I protected the whole sheet except for the 4 blue boxes.

Hi here is the sheet iam working on.
Take a look and tell me what i can do.
I want to use this in a access project. So that when i add a item i can store their price etc.
I dont want more cells then these.
That i want is that when i type a number in c11 excel will display how much % has increased from c8 to c11 and displaying it in c10.
And the other way. when i type number (that is % increasment) in c10 excel will multiply with c8 and show the value in c11.
    Can u help.

    Question

    Hi, thanks.
great work. i just have to tune it up. instead of c12 having c11 hehe. and when i enter 100% mark-up it shows 200, but i want it 400 cuz increasing 100% from 200 is 400.

here is my sheet with formulas. see if this is good.

    good help from u. thanks.
