Negative function

hi guys, just have a quick problem. im sure ye will get this one, easy!!


ive got a formula ,in cell 1, which has one of its values that is comming from another cell, lets call it cell 2.

Cell 2 is gona be positive or negative, depending on what the inputs are.

But the thing is, when cell 1 is calculating it formula, i want it to see cell 2 as a positive all the time, even if it is negative.

is there anyway of doing this? im using excel 2000
