Problem converting from sheets to exel

Greetings, I have been working on a large project on google sheet because of the convenience of being able to work on it with multiple people at the same time, but I have run into an issue with the Indirect function, on google sheets it allows you to print a range. So say I had a "List", I could make it a range than say =INDIRECT(List) and it would fill the column with the elements of that list, each in its own cell. Is there a way to do this in Excel?

To my knowledge, not yet. Microsoft appears to be working on this "spill" feature (trying to catch up to google sheets, I suspect). It may be a while before it is released broadly (probably only to 365 subscribers at first).

Of course, if you are one of those select "office insiders", you may already have access to this, but your colleagues may not.

There are probably ways to work this kind of thing into the existing versions of Excel. My approach has always been to enter a larger than will ever be needed array function and tolerate the N/A errors that result. But I seem to be unique in my ability to have errors in my spreadsheets and ignore them when I know they don't matter.
