Re: Excel 2003 view formula within pivot table

Please help yourself by including the question in the body, even
if it is word for word the same as in the subject line. I think
you could have elaborated a bit more in the body anyway.

I don't know of anyway to show what the actual formula for a cell
in a Pivot Table is. Why is that important to you. I kind of
thought it obvious what a cell is comprised of.

Anyway a Pivot table is a builtin generated report.

Re: Excel 2003 view formula within pivot table

Thanks for reply. Within pivot table have dozens of "calculated fields" or
formula which on the 2000 version can be seen by right clicking anywhere on
pivot selecting "formula" and then "list formula" - result a worksheet with
    all the created formula listed.

Can't see any way of performing on 2003 version.

If know of one would appreciate it.

Re: Excel 2003 view formula within pivot table

I have Excel 2000 and I don't find any formulas in my
Pivot Table report -- My P.T. would be only comprised of
    additions (SUM).

Specifically I switched to formula view to be sure I didn't miss
    anything.

Possibly you used to reformat the output pivot table with
    formulas in some manner.
