    copy array formula

How do you copy an array formula that references another sheet:

    =sumif(sheet1!a:a)

from one file to another file without the original file extension:

    =sumif(c:/'file1'.sheet1!a:A)

The files are shared so I assume I will have to unshare the files?

The formula is commited with ctrl, shift, enter?

I thought different people would be in different sites? Just signed on yesterday, why are you in all the sites? Do you work for Exceltip?

I apologize, I will post only once going forward, unless I post and realize I did not make sense!
