how do I make an excel comment box bigger?

I am looking at an excel worksheet that was sent to me. There are several
comments on the sheet. One of the cells is too small and I cannot read
everything that is in the comment box. How can I make this box bigger so that
I can see the entire contents

Right-click on the cell > Edit Comment
Then just drag the bottom right corner of the comment box
diagonally down to enlarge the comment box

Thanks. I tried this, but I when I right click on the cell I don't have the
option to edit comment. I am thinking that this is because the worksheet is
    password protected.

Other than stating the obvious*, afraid I'm out of further ideas here
*unprotect the sheet / ask the book's author to resize that comment box

    Thanks for the help!
I was hoping I could just do it on my own w/o having to bother the author.

A non permanent option, assuming the protection allows it, would be to
    increase the zoom factor.
