    Column letters

Hi, does anyone know how to move across columns in excel. I have a starting cell of F:12 but need to move a number of columns across depending on other data, so i might need to move 4 rows across to J:12 and then another time move 8 to N:12 Is there a way of doing it?

    Cheers

    Using VBA you could use

    Range("F12").Offset(0,4).Select

Where F12 is your starting poing and 4 is the number of colums you want to move to the right.

ONLY APPLIES TO VBA RESPONSES WHERE APPROPRIATE
To insert code into the VBE (Visual Basic Editor)
    1. Copy the code.
    2. Open workbook to paste code into.
    3. Right click any worksheet tab, select View Code
    4. VBE (Visual Basic Editor) opens to that sheets object
    5. You may change to another sheets object or the This Workbook object by double clicking it in the Project window
    6. In the blank space below the word "General" paste the copied code.
