    Filtering by Results of Conditional Formatting

    Hello. I have begun to use Conditional Formatting to quickly find certain conditions in my workbook (such as a repeat of a value in a column). This works fine, but then I want to filter the worksheet to display only the values that met the conditional formatting. Does anyone know of a direct or relatively painless indirect way to accomplish this?

    Thanks.

    Without goint to write a macro, the easiest way is to put a helper column next to the column with the formats in, then put the conditional formats in as an if function
    if(cf1 is true,1,if(cf2 is true,2,if(cf3 is true,3,"")))

    substituting the conditions in the above, then you sort/filter by this column

    Regards
