Prevent users from saving

Hello -

Is there a way to prevent users from saving a workbook, regardless of whether it is modified or not? Excel has the password protect feature but that only prevents people from saving any changes, doesn't it? I'm trying to prevent there from being several different versions of my workbook floating around...

The only thing I can think of is to set the file attributes to read only. Right click on the file in Explorer and set this in properties. This wont stop them saving it with a different name. Maybe you could remove the SAVE option from the menu when your workbook is open.
