    Carim,

I really appreciate the help you are giving me but that didn't work either. How do I upload the file and then maybe you can review it for me in the event i'm not properly conveying what I'm trying to do?

    Hi,

Best solution is to winzip your excel file,
then you attach the winziped file and upload it before sending it ...

    Carim,

I uploaded the copy and pasted only version because my file is too large even after it is zipped. Basically what I'm trying to accomplish the following:

I want J5= the information in the first column to the right of what is located in Z5:AF5 based on what is listed in E5.
    I had used =VLOOKUP(E5,Z5:AF5,1,FALSE) which doesn't work.

Thank you so much for your help.

For the sake of clarification ...

    when you say

"the information in the first column to the right of what is located in Z5:AF5"

I understand contents of cell AG5 which is empty ...
    so I fell lost ...

What exactly should appear in cell J5 ? which word or value ?

I want the information to read whatever is in the first column to the right of the selected column.

Example on Line 5. if E5 reads Roll thread i want J5-=cell AC being that roll thread is in AB.

    Does this help?
