    Another Quick easy one?

Is it possible to stop a user entering data into a cell without having to protect the cell.

I would like the cell (which has a formula in it) to be visible and auto calculate but i dont want the user to be able to click or select it all.

If i just use "protect" cell using a password , if the user tries to enter data it throws up the error message which says the cell needs unlocking - i dont want this.
