Trouble with SUMIF

Hi Thanks for reading

I think it may be the SUMIF function I need but it may be something else!
On my spreadsheet I have month as text written in Column B, Column C has the dat I need to sum (number of holidays taken). I need to sum the total number of holidays taken for each month, is there an automatic way to do this without using a formula.

=SUMIF(B:B,"February",C:C)
