    Multiple freezes

    Hi All

I've searched the forums for this but haven't come across a solution, and I'm really hoping there might be someone that can help me out.

I am trying to freeze the top 2 rows (header stuff) so that when I scroll down they remain visible. I can do this fine (Select the 3rd row down, Window>Freeze).

Additionally I want the first 2 columns to freeze but only for horizontal scrolling - i.e. The first 2 columns will still scroll up and down below the header rows, but will remain visible when I scroll to the right to view off-screen columns.

Every time I try this at the moment it undoes my original freeze.

Is it possible to freeze horizontally but not vertically like this, and to make two freezes at the same time?

Many thanks indeed for any help.

The following instructions will freeze the 2 rows above and 2 columns to the left the selected cell (c3)

    Remove all freezes
    Select cell c3
    Freeze panes

It sure is easy when you know how - getting the know how can be a long road.

Good to hear that it solved your problem
