    On time event

A question I fear may involve a "step to far"! I have a worksheet that is updating with lots of data continuously. It contains the levels of various vessels and strengths on the chemical plant where i work. On the last day of the month at 0500 hours we need to do a stock take, is it possible to set excel to save a worksheet at a certain time on a certain day ie.. 0500 1st April 2007. This I fear will prove impossible.
    Thanks for your great help.

    Good evening whitesidehasdon

You can use the OnTime function to run a macro at a specified time, in the example below the macro "SaveMyFile" would be run the next time 5.00am occurs. This is not fully automatic, but it's a start.
