    Smile Columns on one page

I have one column of data with that goes from A1 (w/header) to A57. The page break is set at A52. I want to avoid cutting and pasting A53 to A57 to a second column on the first page and avoid changing my scaling.

Is there a way to make all data appear on a single page in two columns without cutting and pasting?

I want to learn this for bigger amounts of data

It may be a stupid question, but why not adjust the top and bottom borders to fit on one page?

Chippy, the OP stated he didn't want to change the scaling. Size to fit one page would, of course, change the scaling.

One could use a formula in Col B to pull the data from A53 on. e.g. in B1 enter "=A53". Copy this down to B52. Now all data that would print on page 2 will appear on page 1.

    Hi Bruce,

Well may be it was a stupid question? When the Op said scaling, I thought the Op was talking about reducing the size of the font. By increasing the top and bottom margins maybe those 5 extra lines will fit a page???
    Hope gwaus24 let us know

    Hi gwaus
don't worry your question is valid.

I suppose that you have data in col A downwards with defined page settings (margins) which you don't want to change after apply formula.

first page ends at A52, 2nd ends at A103. it means that you have 51 rows in each page (103-52=51).
you can set formula in col B to start pulling data from col A starting from cell A53 and in col C from cell A104 and so on in each column with adding 51 in number of cells.
I have put formula in row 2 in each column and copied it down till end of first page (i-e row 52). you can put formula in the same manner (by adding 51 to cell reference) in column H, I, J and onwards.
you also need to change page order...
go to File > Page Setup > Sheet tab and under Page order select Over, then down.
(see the attached file with all this working)

hope this working will solve your problem.
