Select customer from drop down list

I have an Excel 2003 Workbook. I have some general user fields on TAB(a) that consist of company name, address, contact and so on. On a seperate TAB, I have it populated with my Salesforce.com data. Here is what I want to accomplish.

I want to select TAB(a) and have a drop down menu on the customer that references the data on TAB(b). Once selected, I want the rest of the fields (address, contact) and so on to be auto populated...

    is this possible?

    Tom

If you post a .zip sample of your spreadsheet, it would be easier to help you.

Generally, however, here are some pointers.

    1. Drop down. Go to Tab (b) which contains the customer information. Highlight the entire column of customers (excluding the title heading). Once highlighted, press ctrl+f3 to define a name for that range. Choose a name, click add, then ok. On tab (a), highlight the column that you want to have the drop down, then click data>validation. choose list from the drop down, and enter =NAME (where name is the name that you defined for your range).

    2. Set up a vlookup to pull the rest of the info from tab (b)
