Linking Sheets

Currently, I am taking several cells from hundreds of sheets and compiling them into one sheet. The cells I need are all contained in one column. I know how to link the cells using "equal" and then selecting the cells in the other sheet. What I am wondering is if there is a way to link the first cell for each sheet, then tell excel the next cell i need is 5 rows up, and the next is 3 rows down, etc. Each data point is independent.

Does this make sense to anyone/is there a way to go about doing this? I greatly appreciate any help!

This is not the same issue as that. In the previous one, I was trying to link several cells from one sheet to another. Now I am trying to create a general rule so that i can select one cell that i want pulled on one sheet, and it will then pull several other cells based upon that location (up 3 from original, up 2 from original, etc). Each cell that is copied must also be in it's own cell.

Ok, I thought of a better way to describe this:

Cell A1 is linking to cell A2 in sheet 2.
I want a formula to tell cell B1 in sheet 1 to look up A1+1 (or A3 in sheet 2).
I then want cell B1 to look up A1+1+1 (A4 from sheet 2).

This would need to be an equation so that i could tell it to look up G8 as the first cell to lookup and it would then look up G9, G10, etc.

any ideas?
