    Cell Referencing

    Hello,

I have a spreadsheet that contains multiple worksheets. The first worksheet contains multiple columns (A, B, C, etc).

The second worksheet contains formulas based on this information. The formulas reside in various columns, however, there is a consistent pattern. For instance, if I am in column D, I want to retrieve the values from column C in worksheet1. Essentially, I want to always get the value from one column less in worksheet1.

Does this make sense, does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks,
    Crystal

Just type your formula into one column and drag it over. If you type =worksheet1!A1 into cell B1 on worksheet2, just drag to the the left and cell C1 on worksheet2 will automatically populate as =worksheet1!B1

Unfortunately, this approach will not work as I must do it through the formula itself. I cannot move any columns around.
