Format and colors of rows are changing, when copying from one workbook to other.

I am having four individual excelworkbooks, those are reports generated by crystal reports and exported into excel format. now, i am trying to copy these different workbook into one workbook as different sheets. but the row colors were changing into different color at time coping.

If you have these in different workbooks, is the format OK in those? If so, try opening the workbooks and hold the Ctrl key and drag the sheet (copy it) to the main workbook. Does that work?

as per oldchippy's post, hold down the CTRL key and click-drag the worksheet tab (icon becomes a page+arrow) to the new book.

If this fails, check Tools, Options, General and untick 'Ignore Other Applications' and re-open the book.

Hi,

If you go Tools, Options, Colour and then Reset

that should show the cause of your problem, that your colour palette is no longer standard.

This together with copying a sheet to a sheet with different Merged items will not permit easy copy.
