    Saving filtering criteria

Hi to everyone on the list. Am having a problem with the tip that tells how to save filtering criteria. Have no problem till I get to: #3. Type any text criteria you want into the Custom Views box and click twice to save???????? I put my criteria in and then go to file and do save but then the criteria disappears.
Any help and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

For #3, instead of using the View Icon to save, go to View > Custom Views and Add your filtered list. Once you have a name for your filtered list you can then use the View Icon to call it back again.

    Re: Saving filtering criteria

    Hi all,

This is the closest thread i could find similar to my own predicament. I'm looking to know if there is an easy way of viewing all filtered selections on a spread sheet? Eg column A is has excluded 2 items, column 6 is sorted a-z and column 9 is excluding blank, just for example. But what I want to be able to do is get a view of all these at the same time for ease of use.

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Alan
