    Question Compare Data

    I have a workbook with 4 tabs, one of which I want to pull information from all of the other tabs(Group1, Group2,Group3). We'll call that one the summary tab.

    I want to pull a months worth of information from the other tabs to compare the groups.

    I want to type the month into A1 and have that months information pulled on the the summary tab.

    January = column D-H
    February = Column I-M
    March = Column N-R
    Etc.

    the data is in rows 4-29

    Any Ideas, or have I confuss everyone.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    I'd say you'll need some code to do this, which I'll try and write for you if you could just confirm for me - in the Summary tab if you want to see say May data, you want the total of May for the three groups, correct?

    Cheers,

    Robert

    Robert,

    Actually I want to copy the data for the month for each group and display it next to each other in order to make comparisons.

    Row 3 has item headers
    Actual
    Target
    Tolerane
    Variance
    Blank Cell

    Column B4-B29 has the data description which will line up with the information that is imported from each month.

    The three group names are:
    Cab
    Chassis
    Mechatronics

    I hope this is enough info.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    Clicking the Summarise button on the Summary tab, selecting the month to report on from the user form drop-list and then clicking OK should hopefully be what your after.

    Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,

    Robert

    If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:
